About Casa Castillo
Hello, Hola,
Welcome to the finest mexican arts on line. My name is Salvador
Castillo and I would like to tell you more about our store
and background.
I come from a Mexican Artisans family, with more than 100 years
in memory making and promoting the finest Mexican arts available.
I was born in the very wonderful and full of traditions state of
Guanajuato, in central Mexico. After being living in the US, California,
for more than 10 years, and noticing the great need for promoting
and helping the Mexican artisans, I decided to use advantage of
my 10 years of experience in the US market and start helping the
artisans to expand their horizons thru the use of the internet.
My main motivation behind is to help the real artisans, the most
skill ones, even though sometimes they may not be necessary the
most famous or rich ones, to promote their wonderful arts and bring
financial aid to continue their passion for the arts.
For more than 5 years I have successfully accomplish in some degree
this effort to help the artisans, the one that works with the heart,
passion and skillful, to bring to you the finest pieces of Mexican
art.
I travel widely all over Mexico, looking in the small towns and
cities as well, to get to know those, otherwise unknown artisans,
and expend several days with them, getting to know them and get
a feel of their passion and their skills, quality and honesty.
I look very closely to see what are they going to do with the income
they are going to get from your contributions and purchases, to
be sure they continue to expand their skills, variety, acquire new
tools, recruit and teach new personnel, as well as contributing
to their own community and family. I don’t get involve with
artisans that look only for money making deals, and then forget
all about the art making process and quality.
So I would like to tell you that every time you make a purchase
from Casa Castillo on-line store, I can assure you that you will
be contributing to keep these wonderful arts alive and making some
community, families and individuals happier and enthusiastic. I
can tell you this with all honesty, because I have seeing how wonderful
they receive the news when a new order is place, how many more new
ideas and designs start to come up when they realize their art work
is wanted and it will be in somebody’s home decorating, bringing
a piece of them beyond the Mexican border.
I personally thank you in the name of each artisan, and I will keep
posting news from them as much as possible, so you can also receive
feed back directly from them.
Please feel free to send a message to any of the artisans you feel
grateful for, send me an e-mail using the contact us page, and I
will be sure to pass that on to them. Every time they hear from
the customers I can see their faces lighting up and asking, really?
Did they really said that?..
Thanks again for your purchases and contributions. I will always
be available for you if you need any assistance or specific needs,
feel free to contact me at any time.
If you don’t see what you are looking for or have any specific
request, we can process your custom order surely. Please contact
